Job Title: Manufacturing Test Engineer
Position Details:
- 100% onsite at 8310 N Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, TX, 78731.
- Hours/Work Schedule: Shift Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM - 40 hours/week.
- Approximately 24-months contract (Target Start/End Dates: 21-Apr-2025 - 20-Apr-2027).
Overview:
We are seeking a proficient Manufacturing Test Engineer with expertise in the Network Packet Broker and Traffic Generator industry to join our innovative team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining test processes tailored to the unique requirements of our products. Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, specifically within the Network Packet Broker and Traffic Generator industry.
- Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, procedures, and scripts using automated test equipment and software tools tailored to network infrastructure testing.
- Strong understanding of hardware testing techniques relevant to network devices, including Ethernet protocols, packet processing, and traffic management.
- Experience with network test equipment such as network analyzers, packet generators, and traffic generators.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or LabVIEW for test automation and data analysis in a networking context.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to network infrastructure.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma) and regulatory standards relevant to network equipment (IEC, IEEE) is a plus.

Pay Transparency:
- This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $50.00/hour - $55.00/hour.
