Job Title: Quality Technician

Position Details:

• 100% onsite at 1900 Garden of the Gods Road; Colorado Springs, CO 80907.
• Work Schedule/Hours: Monday thru Friday, 40 hours/week.
• Contract Duration: Approximately 22-months.

Duties:

• Mechanical inspection of precision machined components - CMM (Optical and Touch Probe), Interferometry, Laser Micrometer, and other advanced metrology equipment.
• Calibrations of metrology equipment.
• CAPA Corrective and Preventive Action support in relation to NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) with thorough documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma - University degree, specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential
• Preferred: Lean, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause investigation, Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA) knowledge and understanding
• Preferred: ISO 9001, AS9100, and / or FDA Certifications

Experience with any/all the following is highly desired:

• Advanced Metrology
  • Programmable optical measurement tools (optical CMM)
  • Keyence Image Measurement system
  • Interferometers used for surface finish and form analysis
  • Laser micrometer

Pay Transparency:

• This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $19.02/hour - $25.36/hour.
