Electronics Test & Equipment Support Technician

Make an Impact:

We are looking for an Electronics Test & Equipment Support Technician to join our team and help keep critical test equipment and manufacturing tools operating reliably. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with R&D, Technical Support, Marketing, and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to support a wide range of Keysight oscilloscope products and related equipment.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting electronics, working with test equipment, solving technical problems, and collaborating with teams to keep operations moving.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform oscilloscope calibration across all active families of Keysight products.
• Install and reinstall oscilloscope and QUADS software.
• Coordinate oscilloscope and QUADS hardware service activities.
• Perform oscilloscope application validation and document/submit issues for resolution.
• Troubleshoot and maintain oscilloscopes by narrowing down the source of an issue and providing the instrument to the appropriate local team for repair.
• Ensure equipment and accessories used with oscilloscopes and related systems remain operational and ready for use.
• Support SSD imaging for systems and equipment.
• Work closely with R&D, Technical Support, Marketing, NPI, and other cross-functional teams to resolve equipment and technical issues.
• Perform hands-on work in an ESD-controlled environment while following appropriate ESD handling practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with electromechanical assembly, including the use of torque drivers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate and document technical issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Flexibility and the ability to work effectively with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Ability to deliver results under schedule pressure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve technical issues.
• Strong initiative and attention to detail.

• Willingness and ability to work in an ESD-controlled environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, NPI, or a related environment, or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications:

• Higher-level education, training, or certifications in electronics.
• Classroom or hands-on experience using electronic test equipment, particularly:
• Oscilloscopes
• Oscilloscope probes
• Other electronic measurement equipment

Pay Transparency:

• This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $25.68/hour - $34.24/hour W-2.
