Job Title: SRMS Mechanical Calibration Technician
Position Details:
- 100% onsite at 1400 Fountain Grove Parkway; Santa Rosa, CA 95403.
- Hours/Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM.
- 24-months contract (Target start/end dates: 06/30/2025 - 06/29/2027).

The Manufacturing Operations Support candidate will support Keysight manufactured test equipment. Specific duties include:
- Repair and/or Calibration of torque measuring/indicating devices
- Mechanical measurement of plain/thread pins and plug gauges
- Mechanical measurement of precision milled and turned sub-miniature high frequency electronic parts.
The candidate will be responsible for direct application of technical skills. Working within the designated area of expertise, the candidate will clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting Keysight technicians and NPI Engineers.
Qualifications:
- Keysight is looking for a highly motivated individual.
- Candidates must be able to function with a high level of responsibility, use of good judgment, and understand the impact of their decisions.
- Prior experience is strongly preferred. Applicant should have at least 2 years of related experience in the calibration and repair of mechanical test equipment.
- This position requires some education, specialized training/certification, or Military experience.
- Ideal candidate should have basic understanding of mechanical metrology hand tool usage and have Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background, and be able to read blueprints.
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers preferred.
- Experience using automated calibration software platforms is a plus.
- Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
- Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates mechanical competence.
- Works with clearly defined objectives on assignments that may be repetitive in nature.
- Solves technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
- Performs adjustments, calibrations and basic repairs.
- Escalates more difficult repairs to experienced technicians.
- Exhibits the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with wide range of people.
- Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics.
- Provides consistent, solid contribution to team and service center delivery goals.
- Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other Keysight resources.
- Maximizes the use of existing assets, multi-tasks effectively, and ensures Keysight resources are used properly (i.e. connector care, ESD).

- Communicates effectively with internal customers.
- May initiate customer interaction as appropriate.
- Escalates issues through appropriate channels when necessary - This is done verbally or via written correspondence.
- Adheres to established processes and is responsible for achieving established team goal.
Pay Transparency:
- This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $22.50/hour - $27.00/hour.
