Job Title: Manufacturing Technical Specialist - Expert

Duties:

While working directly with others and assisting production processes, must adhere to all Safety and ESD requirements and processing needs by following documentation and instructions to consistently produce quality PCB rework and modifications. Under general supervision and working from standardized manuals and procedures is responsible for performing a variety of moderately complex duties within a manufacturing environment. Assist with first-level troubleshooting and implementing corrective action and process improvement as necessary.

***This person will be working in an ITAR controlled area and must be a US citizen***

Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years PCB assembly and repair, manual hand soldering and if necessary automated equipment related experience
  • Good hand-eye coordination is required to perform all processing requirements
  • Must have experience using basic hand tools, automated equipment, microscopes, and soldering equipment within a production environment
  • May require specialize training/certification with PCB repair standards
  • Strong soldering skills using leaded and lead-free solder wire & solder pastes
  • Building Surface Mount PCB (printed circuit boards) from drawings & schematics
  • Ability to work with very small parts using a microscope
  • Utilizing a microscope 8 hours per day plus overtime if needed
  • Utilizing automated equipment to remove PCB surface mount parts
  • Strong knowledge of Printed Circuit Board workmanship criteria and standards a must
  • Ability to professionally end effectively interact with all team members 
  • Ability to work with and complete Engineering requests as necessary
  • Strong ability to prioritize workload with minimal direction
  • Ability to juggle priorities if needed to meet production demand
  • Ability to follow LEAN manufacturing processes
  • Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma and 5S a plus
  • Ability to be flexible and exhibit strong teamwork ethics to meet business objectives and department goal

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation): Pay Range: $35.00/hour - $45.00/hour W-2. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met). Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (40 hours/week). Keysight Location: 1400 Fountain Grove Parkway, Santa Rosa, CA 95403. Contract Duration: 24 months (09/23/2024 to 09/22/2026).
