Job Title: Service Technician Support

Position Details:

  • 100% onsite at 19859 HWY 80; Forest, Mississippi 39074.
  • Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 40 hours/week.
  • 23-months contract.
  • Local candidates to Forest, Mississippi will be considered.

Duties:

  • Responsible for the calibration, adjustments, and repair of various types of electronic test equipment. 
  • Solves problems requiring a depth of knowledge of calibration, metrology principles, and preventative maintenance techniques.  
  • Recommends corrective actions resulting in solutions that are cost effective and enhance the process.  
  • Uses daily work schedules to appropriately factor volume, priority, customer expectations, and service center goals into decision making processes. 
  • Maximizes the use of existing assets, multi-tasks effectively, and ensures resources are used properly.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience is strongly preferred.  
  • Applicant should have at least 1 year of related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment.
  • This position requires some education, specialized training/certification, or Military experience.
  • PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a required.
  • Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence.
  • Works with clearly defined objectives on customer service assignments that may be repetitive in nature. 
  • Solves technical problems of limited scope and complexity. 
  • Performs adjustments, calibrations.
  • Provides consistent, solid contribution to team and service center delivery goals. 
  • Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other Keysight resources.  
  • Maximizes the use of existing assets and ensures Keysight resources are used properly.
  • Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments.
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external customers (May initiate customer interaction as appropriate).  
  • Escalates issues through appropriate channels when necessary (This is done verbally or via written correspondence). 

Pay Transparency:

  • This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $25.68/hour - $34.24/hour W-2.
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).
QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE :
  • Work Authorization : Green Card, US Citizen, Other valid work visa
  • Preferred years of experience : 1+ Years
  • Travel Required : No travel required
  • Shift timings: Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 40 hours/week.
